Carpet tucking tools come in various shapes and styles, and every carpet fitter has a favourite tucking tool for carpet. Some favour the Stair Tool – a flat paddle with a straight edge designed specifically for tucking carpet on stairs. Others favour the back of a curved lino knife, which can be easier to manoeuvre in corners and around pipes.
