It takes utility blades, slotted razor blades, or Crain 300Y Loop Pile Blades. When used with utility or Crain 300Y blades, it cuts smoothly from the carpet’s backing, and will not shear yarns. Springs on either side of the cutter hold the carpet down as it is being cut. The thin steel row guide follows in the rows of carpet. The steel foot plate fastened on the base reduces wear and extends the life of the cutter. Two large thumb knobs allow simple, fast blade changes. Slotted & H/D Straights blades available come in a box of 100 rapped in oiled paper, the punched hole Straight Blades come in pack of 10.
